Kiyosato Retreat: Heal Your Body and Mind

A private house where you can
fully enjoy the Kiyosato Plateau

A relaxing second home in Kiyosato

Referred to as the Switzerland of Japan, Kiyosato is a popular summer resort to escape the heat and humidity at an altitude of around 1,200 meters.
Enjoy the luxury of blending into the clear air and rich nature of the Kiyosato Plateau without the hustle and bustle of the city. Vacation rental NENBA, designed for long-term stays, is located in a quiet forest at the southern foot of the majestic Yatsugatake mountain range.
Spreading out the window is the unobstructed Yatsugatake blue sky and the spectacular view of the plateau, which changes appearance with the seasons.
The starry night sky, that seems so bright you can almost reach out and touch it, will gently soothe your everyday fatigue.
Enjoy cooking with your loved ones or immerse yourself in a good book. Enjoy the "Kiyosato Retreat" in an open space.

Peace of mind for long-term stays so you'll want to stay forever...
Although the entire building is rented out, we want our guests to feel more comfortable and at ease than at home, and we take great care to ensure hygiene, especially in the bathrooms.

Mountain climbing
As Yamanashi Prefecture is a region surrounded by mountains and rich nature, hiking is popular around our facility.
The region includes Japan's most famous mountain areas, including Mount Fuji, the Southern Alps, the Yatsugatake Mountains, and Okuchichibu. It is truly a "mountain climber's paradise."
Recommended: Mount Hyuga , Mount Mizugaki , Mount Kayagatake , Mount Ebigasa , Mount Kaikoma , etc.

Climbing
The nearby city of Hokuto can be called a mecca for climbing in Japan.
There are also indoor climbing facilities scattered around, so you don't have to worry if it rains.
Please be aware, in December the forest road leading from the retreat to Hokuto City is closed for the winter.
Recommended: Mt. Mizugaki , Kofu Makuiwa , Ojirogawa Valley , etc.

Skiing
JAPOW (Japanese powder): The world's best snow quality. The biggest feature of Japanese ski resorts is the "dry powder" snow, which has an extremely low moisture content.
The area surrounding the facility is one of the most comfortable areas among Japan's ski resorts.
Recommended: Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Resort , Fujimi Kogen Ski Resort , Yachiho Kogen Ski Resort

Golf
The areas greatest attraction is the 360-degree panoramic view, surrounded by the Yatsugatake Mountains, Mt. Fuji, and the Southern Alps. Because of its high altitude, it is more than 5°C cooler than central Tokyo in the summer, and boasts a high rate of sunny days in the winter.
The course is surprisingly flat and wide, allowing you to enjoy some refreshing shots. It is easily accessible, being just two hours from central Tokyo.
Recommended: Kitanomori Country Club, Kobuchizawa Country Club, Kaikoma Country Club
